Matchbox Malbücher
Lesney produzierte erstmals im Jahre 1961 eine Reihe von Malbüchern im Format A4. Insgesamt gab es vier verschiedene Malbücher, die mit P-1 bis P-4 gekennzeichnet sind. Zusätzlich gab es noch ein ‘Paint and Crayon Set’, PC-1, das Wasserfarben, Pinsel und Buntstifte enthielt. Die Malbücher und das Farbenset sind heute überaus selten. Mit Preisen von etwa 300 Euro für ein Malbuch und etwa 500 Euro für das Farbenset muss man rechnen.

Matchbox Painting Books
A series of painting books was first produced by Lesney in 1961. There were four different book in A4 format, labelled P-1 to P-4. Additionally there was a ‘Paint and Crayon Set’ PC-1 with water paints, painting brush and crayons included. The painting books and the paint set are extremely rare. A painting book costs about 300 Euro, the paint set about 500 Euro.
